The Traffic (Hutt County) Notice No. 1, 1972

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.


NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hutt County) Notice No. 1, 1972.

  2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

  3. The Traffic (Hutt County) Notice No. 6, 1968, dated the 10th day of December 1968*, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, is hereby revoked.


SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Hutt County at Silverstream:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) (from a point 16 chains measured easterly generally along the said State highway from Field Street to a point 6 chains measured westerly generally along the said State highway from the said street).

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for better utilisation from and after the 8th day of August 1972.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine and Fisheries hereby amends the notice* approving the Waihola Domain Board Lakeshore Controlled Waters and Protected Anchorages Bylaw No. 1 by deleting the expression “section 165” and substituting the expression “section 8A”.
