PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated:

DZ 3112/240 Methods of test for concrete. (Superseding NZS 192.)
All persons who may be affected by this specification and who desire to comment thereon may, upon application, obtain a copy on loan from the Standards Association of New Zealand, New Zealand Display Centre Building, Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington. Additional copies are obtainable at 50c a copy from the same address.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 31 March 1972.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft Amendments to New Zealand Standard Specifications Available for Comment
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendments are being circulated:

DZ 1693/254 Draft amendment to NZS 1693: 1962 Deformed steel bars of Structural Grade for reinforced concrete.
DZ 1879/255 Draft amendment to NZS 1879: 1964 Hot rolled deformed bars of Hy 60 Grade (high yield 60 000 psi) for reinforced concrete.
NOTE—When issued, these amendments will reduce the frequency of testing from once every 10 tons to once every 25 tons.
All persons who may be affected by these amendments and who desire to comment thereon may, upon application, obtain copies on loan from the Standards Association of New Zealand, New Zealand Display Centre Building, Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
