Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road in Block V, Waiapu Survey District, Waiapu County

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road; and, for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Tikitiki, and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Land Proclaimed as Road and Road Closed and Vested in Blocks V, VII, VIII, IX, X, and XI, Abbey Rocks Survey District, and Block XI, Arnott Survey District, Westland County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, and that the road firstly and secondly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in Thomas Francis Condon, of Mahitahi, farmer, subject to memorandum of mortgage No. 12899, Westland Land Registry; and that the road thirdly, fourthly, and fifthly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in Mount McGloin Station Limited, registered office at Hokitika, subject to memorandum of mortgage No. 33629 and caveats Nos. 28780 and 34749, Westland Land Registry.
