NOTICE

  1. This notice may be sited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1972, No. 38.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place and burial ground for the common use and benefit of the Ngati Ahuru subtribe.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land situated in Block XVI, Patetere North Survey District, and described as follows:

3 3 1 Whaiti Kuranui 7 described in a partition order of the Maori Land Court dated 17 November 1971, and shown on plan ML. 20624 deposited with the Chief Surveyor, Hamilton.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

1 0 5 Part Ngatihaua 16 Block situated in the north-western corner of the block adjoining Taikatu Road; the same being more particularly delineated on the plan attached to a recommendation of the Maori Land Court dated 30 May 1972, made under the provisions of section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, and filed in the Maori Land Court Registry at Wanganui.

Temporary Protection of Industry

Notice is hereby given that the Emergency Protection Authority has been requested to undertake an inquiry, in terms of the Tariff and Development Board Act 1961 and its amendments, and to report, in terms of section 10b of that Act, concerning the following goods:

Animal marking pliers and pliers for use in attaching clips, tags, rings and the like to animals, falling within Tariff Item 82.03.004.
