- Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply with respect to the area described in the First Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that area of water in Kawhia Harbour bounded on the sides by parallel lines 100 yd apart extending 200 yd from the edge of the high water, the northern boundary running in a 180° true direction from a point at high-water mark southward 300 yd from the point at high water in line with the extension of the southern boundary of Kawhia Street.
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE access lane shall be marked as follows:
(1) Two 8 ft transit posts with a distance of not less than 10 ft or more than 20 ft between, and painted with 12 in. bright orange and black bands, shall be erected on land in line with each side of the access lane, the first post being sited on high-water mark.
(2) On each of the transit posts sited on high-water mark, there shall be fastened in line with the sides of the access lane, a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft painted bright orange with black lettering.
(3) The aforesaid notice board shall contain the following notice:
"NOTICE
Motor Launch Regulations 1962
Access lane through which motor launches and water skiers may pass at speeds greater than 5 miles per hour.
BATHERS KEEP OUT".
(4) Marker buoys, either barrel, drum, or spherical shaped, painted bright orange with a vertical black stripe, shall be moored 50 yd apart and in line with each of the transit posts, the first buoy being 50 yd from the water’s edge.

The Motor Launch (Frankton Arm, Lake Wakatipu) Notice 1972
PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, the Minister of Marine and Fisheries hereby gives the following notice:
-
(a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Frankton Arm, Lake Wakatipu) Notice 1972.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette. -
Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply with respect to the areas described in the First Schedule hereto.

The Motor Launch (Frankton Arm, Lake Wakatipu) Notice 1971† and the Motor Launch (Frankton Arm, Lake Wakatipu) Notice (No. 2) 1971‡ are hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
FIRSTLY, all that area of water in Frankton Arm, Lake Wakatipu, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 700 ft apart, extending 200 yd from the edge of the water in a 235° true direction, the northern boundary commencing at a point bearing 143° true distance 582 ft from the south-west corner of the concrete-block bathing sheds on the Frankton Domain foreshore.
Secondly, all that area of water in Frankton Arm, Lake Wakatipu, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 300 ft apart, extending 200 yd from the water’s edge in a 356° true direction, the eastern boundary commencing at a point 132 ft and bearing 352° true from the north-eastern corner of Section 45, D.P. 9192, Kawarau Falls.
Thirdly, all that area of water in Frankton Arm, Lake Wakatipu, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 550 ft apart, extending 200 yd from the water’s edge in a 022° true direction, the south-eastern boundary commencing at a point bearing 285° 31′ true, 152 ft from the survey peg at the north end of the boundary between Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 9769, Coneburn Survey District.
SECOND SCHEDULE
EACH access lane shall be marked as follows:
-
Two 8 ft transit posts with a distance of not less than 10 ft or more than 20 ft between and painted with 12 in. bright orange and black bands shall be erected on land in line with each side of the access lane, the first post being sited on the lake margin at normal lake level.

On each side of the transit posts sited on the lake margin at normal lake level there shall be fastened in line with the sides of the access lane a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft painted bright orange with black lettering in the following form:
"NOTICE
Motor Launch Regulations 1962
Access lane through which motor launches and water skiers may pass at speeds greater than 5 miles per hour.
BATHERS KEEP OUT".
- Where practical, marker buoys, either barrel, drum, or spherical shaped, painted bright orange with a vertical black stripe, shall be moored 50 yd and 200 yd from the lake margin at normal lake level and in line with each set of transit posts.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Pahiatua County Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Pahiatua, and revokes the reservation for a site for a roadman’s cottage over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Reservation of Land and Declaration that Land be Part of the Porirua Scenic Reserve
PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for scenic purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to form part of the Porirua Scenic Reserve.
