The Traffic (Hamilton City) Notice No. 1, 1972

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962 the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hamilton City) Notice No. 1, 1972.

  2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitations as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  4. So much of the Traffic (Hamilton City and Waikato County) Notice No. 1, 1971, dated the 23rd day of June 1971, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, as relates to No. 3 State Highway in Hamilton City is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Hamilton City:

No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) (from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 3 chains measured northerly generally along the said highway from Lorne Street and from the southern boundary of Hamilton City to a point 5 chains measured south-easterly along the said highway from Tomin Road).

SECOND SCHEDULE

No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) (from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 3 chains measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Lorne Street and from a point 5 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said State highway from Tomin Road to a point 1 chain measured south-easterly generally along the said State highway from Resthill Crescent).

The Traffic (Waikato County) Notice No. 1, 1972

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waikato County) Notice No. 1, 1972.

  2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

  3. The Traffic (Waikato County) Notice No. 1, 1968, dated the 26th day of April 1968* under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to Maramarua in Waikato County, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waikato County at Maramarua:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) (from Maramarua-Mangatangi Road to a point 78 chains measured north-westerly generally along the said highway from the said road).

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimate West County) Notice No. 1, 1972.

  2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimate West County at Kaupokonui:

No. 45 State Highway (New Plymouth - Hawera via Opunake) (from a point 8 chains measured westerly generally along the said State highway from the western side of the Kaupokonui Stream Bridge to a point 24 chains measured easterly generally along the said State highway from the western side of the said bridge).
