Licensing Inksters Fisheries Ltd. of Christchurch to Erect and Use Electric Lines
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby licenses Inksters Fisheries Ltd. of Christchurch, subject to the following conditions, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS

This licence is subject to compliance with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and all regulations made in amendment of or in substitution for any of those regulations.

The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a) and (d) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967, and shall be an alternating current system.

The licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the expiration of a period of 21 years from the date hereof, or until electricity is available from an electric power board or other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE
ELECTRIC lines commencing from the licensee’s generator at Kaingaroa, Chatham Islands, and proceeding in a southerly direction generally beyond the licensee’s premises to supply four houses, a caravan, a hut, and a factory.
All being situated in part Wharekauri No. 1, Block II, Rekohu Survey District; as shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 845 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Cancellation of a Licence to Use Water Power
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity, with the consent of the licensee, hereby cancels a licence dated the 28th day of March 1956 authorising Makarora Ltd., of Pembroke, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity (Gazette, 5 April 1956, p. 478).

Cancellation of a Licence to Erect and Use Electric Lines
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity, with the consent of the licensee, hereby cancels a licence dated the 9th day of December 1963 authorising the Hawke’s Bay Education Board to erect and use certain electric lines (Gazette, 19 December 1963, p. 2040).

Temporary Protection of Industry
NOTICE is hereby given that the Emergency Protection Authority has been requested to undertake an inquiry, in terms of the Tariff and Development Board Act 1961 and its amendments, and to report, in terms of section 10D of that Act, concerning the following goods:
Rubber conveyor, elevator and transmission beltings falling within Tariff Item Ex 40.10.009.

Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto, the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas the appellations of certain parcels of the land have been changed by subsequent orders of the Maori Land Court; and whereas it is desired to release certain parcels of the land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV; and whereas it is desired to replace the notice aforesaid by further notices referring to the balance of the land under the current appellations:
Now, therefore, pursuant to sections 330 and 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1972, No. 16.

The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked, being replaced to the extent necessary by notices issued contemporaneously with this notice, as set out in the Third Schedule hereto.

This notice is issued in replacement of Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1972, No. 2, which is hereby revoked.
