The Traffic (Paeroa County) Notice No. 1, 1972

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

**N O T I C E**
  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Paeroa County) Notice No. 1, 1972.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  4. The road specified in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  5. The Traffic (Paeroa County) Notice 1967, dated the 29th day of November 1967†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to the Paeroa Borough, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Paeroa Borough:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) (from the north-western boundary of Paeroa Borough to Brenan Street; and from the south-eastern boundary of Paeroa Borough to a point 21 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said State highway from Russell Street).

No. 26 State Highway (Hamilton-Kopu) (from the northern boundary of Paeroa Borough to Station Road).

Taylors Avenue (from the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) to a point 4 chains measured southerly generally along the said avenue from Bush Street).

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the fencing covenant in transfer S. 542246, for the purposes of the Rotorua Branch Railway on and after the 29th day of May 1972.
