CONSENT TO THE PURCHASE OF THE ELECTRICITY UNDERTAKING OF THE RANGIORA BOROUGH COUNCIL BY THE NORTH CANTERBURY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
PURSUANT to section 77 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, as inserted by section 5 of the Electric Power Boards Amendment Act 1969, the Minister of Electricity hereby consents to the purchase of the electricity undertaking of the Rangiora Borough Council by the North Canterbury Electric Power Board, subject to the following conditions.
CONDITIONS
THIS consent shall be subject to the provisions of the Electricity Distribution Commission Act 1967 and to any final scheme made thereunder, and nothing in this consent shall be construed as limiting the powers of the Electricity Distribution Commission.

Further Extending the Duration of Licence Authorising the North Canterbury Electric Power Board to Use Electric Lines Within the North Canterbury Electric Power District and Outer Area of Such District
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby amends the North Canterbury Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1959*, as amended by the amendments specified in the Schedule hereto, by extending the duration of the said licence until the 30th day of November 1972.
