Inspector of Narcotics Appointed
PURSUANT to section 13 (1) of the Narcotics Act 1965, the Minister of Health hereby authorises Ian Arthur Witty, Public Health Pharmacist of Wellington, to enter the premises of any person who carries on the business of a producer, manufacturer, seller, or distributor of any narcotic, or who otherwise undertakes the supply or administration of any narcotic, and to demand the production of, and to inspect any books or documents relating to dealings in any narcotic, and to inspect, weigh, measure, and record the stocks of narcotics.

PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Marine under the Shipping and Seamen Act 1952,

(a) Certificates of competency as A.B.; and
(b) Certificates of competency as qualified fishing deckhand, in terms of sections 50 and 50A of the said Act, with effect from the date hereof.
