Road Closed and Vested in Block II, Mahanga Survey District, Wairoa County, and Previous Notice Revoked as to Part

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the notice dated the 25th day of February 1972 and published in Gazette, 9 March 1972,

No. 23, p. 494, proclaiming land as road, road closed and vested in Block II, Mahanga Survey District, Wairoa County, in so far as it affects the portions of road described in the Second Schedule to the said notice; also, pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, hereby proclaims that the road described in the Schedule hereto is hereby closed and shall, when so closed, vest in Francis Nigel Featherston Johnston, of Nuhaka, sheep-farmer (two-fifths share), Christine Mary Johnston, of Hexham, England, widow (one-fifth share), Caroline Margaret Featherston Blundell, of Wellington, widow (one-fifth share), and the said Caroline Margaret Featherston Blundell and Richard Spence Volkman Simpson, of Wellington, solicitor, as executors in the estate of Peter Guy Featherston Johnston, deceased (one-fifth share), as tenants-in-common in the said shares set out subject to memorandum of mortgage No. 261725, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry.
