OTOROHANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan 1971β€”$100,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $100,000, authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing
Act 1939, the said Otorohanga County Council hereby makes
a special rate of 0.04386c in the dollar upon the rateable value
(on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
in the County of Otorohanga; and that the special rate be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35
years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at
a meeting of the Otorohanga County Council held on the 24th
day of March 1972.

HOKITIKA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hokitika Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $78,000, authorised to be raised by the Hokitika
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for building
meat chiller rooms and making improvements to the municipal
abattoirs, the said Hokitika Borough Council hereby makes
a special rate of 1.225c in the dollar upon the rateable value
of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of

Hokitika; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring
rate and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in
each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at
a meeting of the Hokitika Borough Council held on 15 March
1972.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP
RAYMOND ARMSTRONG THORPE, Clayton George Cutter, Ralph
Arnold Pickmere and Kenneth Walter Anderson Douglas carrying
on practice in partnership as architects at Auckland,
Wellington, and Christchurch under the firm name of Thorpe
Cutter Pickmere Douglas wish to announce that as from
1 May 1972 Raymond Armstrong Thorpe will withdraw
from the partnership and will practice on his own account
at 113 Vincent Street, Auckland.

Clayton George Cutter, Ralph Arnold Pickmere, and
Kenneth Walter Anderson Douglas will continue to practice
in partnership at 113 Vincent Street, Auckland and also
at Wellington and Christchurch under the name of Cutter
Pickmere Douglas.
