along a right line across Middle Road to and along the north-
western boundaries of Sections 41 and 26, Block XVI,
Manganui S.D., the north-eastern boundary of the said Section
26 and its production to and along the south-western and
south-eastern boundaries of Section 27, Block XVI, Manganui
S.D., and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the
western boundary of Section 32, Block XVI, Manganui S.D.,
along the south-western and southern boundaries of that section
and the north-western boundary of Urewera 2A2 to the left
bank of the Mangaturuturu Stream, along that bank to its
intersection with an arc of radius 4 miles from Trig Station N
(Ruapehu), along that arc to the south-eastern boundary of
Urewera 2A1, along that boundary to Trig Station N
(Ruapehu), and along right lines to Trig Station H (Pare-
tetaitonga) and to Trig Station D (Matihao) in Block XI,
Ruapehu S.D.; thence generally northerly, south-westerly,
southerly, and south-easterly along the boundaries of Rangi-
tikei-Wanganui Catchment District hereinbefore described to
the point of commencement.

Shipping and Seamen Act 1952—Appointment of Chairman
and Members of the Marine Council

Pursuant to section 15A of the Shipping and Seamen Act
1952 (as substituted by section 2 of the Shipping and
Seamen Amendment Act 1971), I, John Bowie Gordon,
Minister of Marine, hereby appoint the following persons
to be the Chairman and Members of the Marine Council:

Rodger Norman Kerr, as Chairman (representing the
Marine Department);
John Ferdinand Holm and Raymond Donald Munro
(representing owners of New Zealand ships);
John Wilson Dickinson (representing the New Zealand
Merchant Service Guild Industrial Union of Workers);
Clifford Somerville Harnett (representing the New Zealand
Institute of Marine and Power Engineers Incorporated);
William Martin (representing the New Zealand Seamen’s
Union Industrial Union of Workers); and
Christopher Martin Delaney (representing the Federated
Cooks’ and Stewards’ Union of New Zealand Industrial
Union of Workers).
