Revision of District Valuation Rolls
PURSUANT to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, the Valuer-General has revised, as at 1 March 1972, the district valuation rolls for Petone Borough.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Lands as Maori Reservations
Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold lands described in the Schedule hereto are hereby set apart as Maori reservations for the purpose of fishing grounds for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ngatimoeahu tribe.

Setting Apart Land as a Maori Reservation
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated 20 March 1967 and published in Gazette, 30 March 1967, No. 19, p. 446, the land described in the Schedule hereto was set apart as a Maori reservation, and whereas it is necessary that the said Order in Council be cancelled upon the grounds that the land, being subject to a receivership order, was ineligible, as at date of the said Order in Council, to be set apart as a Maori reservation and whereas the receiver now having been discharged it is desired to again set apart the land as a Maori reservation; now therefore, pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, notice is hereby given as follows.
NOTICE

The reservation constituted by Order in Council dated 20 March 1967 and published in Gazette, 30 March 1967, No. 19, page 446, relating to the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby cancelled.

The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a meeting place and marae for the common use and benefit of the Ngati Rangatahi, Ngati Reremai, Ngati Ngapoutama, and Ngati Hinewai tribes.

Pursuant to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
