Constituting Certain Secondary Urban Fire Districts

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Fire Services Act 1949, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby declares the urban areas of Mapua and Ruby Bay in the County of Waimea (as delineated on the plan numbered F.S.C. 1/294/1 and deposited in the office of the Fire Service Council) and the urban areas of Tapu and Waiomu in the County of Thames (as delineated on the plan numbered F.S.C. 1/296/1 and deposited with the Fire Service Council) to be secondary urban fire districts by the names of the Mapua Secondary Urban Fire District and the Tapu Secondary Urban Fire District respectively.

This notice shall take effect as from the 31st day of March 1972.
