Revocation of a Fiordland National Park Bylaw

PURSUANT to the National Parks Act 1952, a resolution has been passed by the Fiordland National Park Board, resolving that Bylaw No. 10A of the bylaws made in respect of the Fiordland National Park, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 1963, No. 55, at page 1431, be revoked.

“10A—Excluding the Public From Specified Parts of the Park

No member of the public shall enter the part or parts of the park specified in the Schedule hereto without the written permission of the Board given subject to such terms and conditions as it deems fit.

Provided, however, that the Board may waive the requirement for written permission in such cases as it may in its discretion determine.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area situated in the Southland Land District, being part of the Fiordland National Park containing 25 square miles, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the mouth of Wolfe Burn on the south shore line of Western Arm, Lake Manapouri, and proceeding north-westerly across the said Western Arm to Leaning Peak, thence westerly to Mount Barber, thence north-westerly to Lake Alice Falls, thence south-westerly across Deep Cove to Pridham Point, thence southerly generally to Huntleigh Falls, thence south-easterly generally to Mount Wilmot and Koinga Peak to the confluence of the Diamond Creek and Spey River, thence north-westerly generally to Mount Grey, and thence to the mouth of Wolfe Burn, being the point of commencement. As shown on a plan numbered L. and S. N.P. 7, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, and thereon coloured yellow.”

The foregoing bylaw was revoked by resolution of the Board at its meeting on 18–19 June 1971.

Revocation of the foregoing bylaw of the Fiordland National Park Board is approved this 22nd day of September 1971 by the National Parks Authority.

Average Price for Apples and Pears for the 1971–72 Season Declared (Notice No. 203 Ag. 3328)

PURSUANT to section 27 (7) of the Apple and Pear Marketing Act 1971, notice is hereby given that the Apple and Pear Prices Authority has determined that the average price to be paid to growers by the New Zealand Apple and Pear Marketing Board for apples and pears grown during the 1971–72 season shall be 111.3c per bushel of bare fruit ungraded and unpacked and delivered to the receiving depot of the Board nearest to the orchard on which the fruit was grown.

Licensing the Northland Harbour Board to Occupy a Site for a Boat Grid at Taipa, Mangonui Harbour

PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, the Executive Officer, Harbours, Foreshores, and Pollution Section, Marine Department, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Marine and Fisheries, pursuant to section 265A of the aforesaid Act, hereby licenses and permits the Northland Harbour Board (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Taipa, Mangonui Harbour, shown on plan marked M.D. 14456 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat grid as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
