A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of March 1972.

All those pieces of land situated in Block X, Whangamoa Survey District, Nelson R.D., described as follows:

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above-mentioned and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Redefining the Boundaries of the Hutt Valley Electric Power District

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby define the boundaries of the Hutt Valley Electric Power District as set out in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

Firstly, all that area in the Wellington Land District comprising the Cities of Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, and Porirua, the Boroughs of Petone, Eastbourne, and Tawa, part of the City of Wellington, part of the County of Hutt, part of Porirua Harbour, part of Wellington Harbour, reclamations and the islands known as Somes Island, Mokopuna Island, and Ward Island, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the mean high-water mark of the sea in line with the south-western boundary of Section 55, Wainui District, in Block III, Paekakariki S.D., and proceeding south-easterly to and along that boundary, the western, and southern boundaries of Section 64, Wainui District, the western side of Paekakariki Hill Road to the northern boundary of Pukerua 1, and along a right line across that road to and along the northern boundary of Section 48, Horokiri Valley District, and its production to the western boundary of Section 1, Titi District; thence southerly, easterly, and northerly along the boundaries of that section to the northern boundary of Section 1, Block V, Akatarawa S.D.; thence generally easterly along that boundary and its production to and along the generally northern boundaries of Section 1, Block VI, Akatarawa S.D., the western and northern boundaries of Section 5, Block II, Akatarawa S.D., the western boundary of Section 406, Hutt District, the northern boundaries of Sections 406 and 407, Hutt District (including a right line across Akatarawa Road), the eastern boundaries of Sections 407, 404, 403, and 400, Hutt District, the northern and eastern boundaries of Section 5, Block III, Akatarawa S.D., to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 2, Block VII, Akatarawa S.D., and to and along the generally northern boundaries of the said Section 2 to the easternmost corner of Lot 8, D.P. 10208; thence north-easterly along a right line across a road to and along the south-eastern boundaries of Lot 5, D.P. 10208, and Sections 12, 11, and 10, Block III, Akatarawa S.D. to the easternmost corner of the said Section 10; thence easterly along a right line to Trig. Station R (Mount Hector) in Block I, Eritonga S.D.; thence generally south-westerly along the summit of the Tararua and Rimutaka Ranges to Trig.
