Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a recreation ground for the common use and benefit of the Maori people of Te Kao and the Maori people generally.

All that piece of land situated in Block XVI of the Muriwhenua Survey District and described as follows:

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Whereas by notice dated 7 August 1963 and published in the Gazette of 15 August 1963, No. 48, p. 1158, the lands described in the First Schedule hereto were set apart as Maori reservations; and whereas by various orders of the Maori Land Court changes have been effected in the appellation and areas of the lands concerned; and whereas it is now desired to redesignate the lands which at present constitute the reservations:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, notice is hereby given as follows.

NOTICE

  1. The reservations by notice dated 7 August 1963 and published in Gazette, 15 August 1963, No. 48, p. 1158, relating to the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are hereby cancelled.

  2. The whole of the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby set apart as Maori reservations for the purpose of a meeting place and recreation ground for the common use and benefit of the Ngati te Takinga tribe.

Setting Apart Land as a Maori Reservation

Whereas by Order in Council dated 27 May 1931 and published in Gazette, 4 June 1931, No. 45, p. 1696, the lands described in the First Schedule hereto were set apart as a Maori Reservation; and whereas it is now desired to extend the reservation to contain adjoining land as recommended by the Maori Land Court; now therefore, pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, notice is hereby given as follows.

NOTICE

  1. The reservation constituted by Order in Council 27 May 1931 and published in Gazette, 4 June 1931, No. 45, p. 1696, relating to the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby cancelled.

  2. The whole of the land described in the Second Schedule is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place and recreation ground for the common use and benefit of the members of the Rongowhakaatu Hapu.

Notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as State forest land.

Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Notice—Additional Agricultural Chemicals on Which Subsidy is Payable Amendment No. 73 (Notice No. 407 Ag. 3599)

Pursuant to the Agricultural Chemicals Act 1959, and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries under sections 9 and 10 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953, for the purposes of the said Act, it is hereby notified that the Schedule to the Agricultural Chemicals Notice (No. Ag. 10487)* is hereby amended by adding the products specified in the Schedule hereto.
