(d) With the consent of the Minister, at any time and
from time to time appropriate any part of the
foreshore for parking places for vehicles for the
convenience of persons using the foreshore; and
fix such charges for the use of any such parking
places as the Minister approves:

(e) Grant licences for the carrying on of the trades of
boat hiring, and the sale of refreshments on the
foreshore on any specified site on the foreshore,
and prohibit persons from carrying on any trade,
business, or occupation on the foreshore unless
licensed by the Council, and fix fees to be paid in
respect of such licences:

Provided that no such licence shall authorise the
erecton of any building on the foreshore.

  1. The Council may, subject to the provisions of section 178
    of the Harbours Act 1950, erect, or license or permit the
    erecton of, bathing sheds or boat sheds on the foreshore of
    Titahi Bay, and may fix charges for such use:

Provided that the funds so received shall be expended in
improving the foreshore for the benefit of the public.

  1. Nothing in this order shall authorise the Council to
    remove or cause to be removed from the foreshore of Titahi
    Bay any stone, sand, shingle, or shells without the consent
    in writing of the Minister being first obtained.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Wanganui Hydatids
    Control District Amending Order 1972.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the
date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The Wanganui Hydatids Control Committee is hereby
    appointed the Hydatids Control Authority for the Wanganui
    Hydatids Control District which was constituted by Order
    in Council on the 16th day of October 1972*.

  2. Clause 3 of the Wanganui Hydatids Control District Order
    1972* is hereby revoked.

of Defence hereby approves the following appointments, pro-
motions, extensions, relinquishments, cancellations, transfers,
and resignations of officers of the New Zealand Cadet Forces:

SEA CADET CORPS

Appointments

Bruce Ephraim Dorsey is appointed to a commission in the
rank of Sub Lieutenant with effect from 8 November 1972.

Ronald Charles Belk is appointed to a commission in the
rank of Sub Lieutenant with effect from 14 November 1972.

Kenneth Leonard Heward is appointed to a commission in
the rank of Sub Lieutenant with effect from 14 November
1972.

John Nuttall is appointed to a commission in the rank of
Sub Lieutenant with effect from 14 November 1972.

Termination

The appointment of Ensign Anthony James Warren is
terminated with effect from 9 November 1972.
