Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road and for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Road in Blocks II, III, VI, and VII, Tarawera Survey District, Taupo County

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road; and for the purposes of that public work, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby required to be taken for road and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby required to be taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post offices at Napier and Taupo and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing, and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that piece of land containing 3.3 perches situated in Block XI, Waiwera Survey District, North Auckland R.D., and being part Allotments 207 and 208, Okura Parish; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 25694 (S.O. 46400) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
