PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 13th day of December 1971.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby: (a) declares the piece of road described in the Schedule hereto to be a Government road; and (b) stops the said road.

All that piece of land containing 11.2 perches situated in Block XI, Puketi Survey District, Wellington R.D., adjoining part Section 41, Town of Turangi; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 22674 (S.O. 26839) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

The Traffic (Thames Borough) Notice No. 1, 1971

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Thames Borough) Notice No. 1, 1971.

2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

4. The Traffic (Thames Borough and Thames County) Notice No. 1, 1969†, dated the 27th day of May 1969, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulations 27 and 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to Thames Borough and Thames County, is hereby revoked.

2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The Traffic (Porirua City) Notice No. 3, 1971

PURSUANT to subclause (5) of regulation 18 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Porirua City) Notice No. 3, 1971.

2. The Minister of Transport hereby consents to the erection of flashing red lights at the places described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of traffic control in terms of regulation 18, subclause (4) of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

SCHEDULE

Situated within Porirua City, on the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff), at a point 1.1 miles measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Mungavin Avenue (as shown on the plan T.T. 4036 deposited in the Head Office of the Ministry of Transport, Wellington).
