\section{Maori Land Development Notice}

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release a certain parcel of that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

\section{NOTICE}

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1971, No. 42.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

\section{Temporary Protection of Industry}

Notice is hereby given that the Emergency Protection Authority has been requested to undertake an inquiry in terms of the Tariff and Development Board Act 1961 and its amendments, and to report in terms of section 10D of that Act, on the following basis:

(a) Whether urgent action is necessary to protect the New Zealand piecegoods industry in relation to the importation of woven acrylic fabrics classified in Tariff item 56.07.48 and such other imported fabrics which you deem should be included in any protective measure in order to make such measure effective; and

(b) If such action is considered necessary, the nature of the protection you consider appropriate in all the circumstances, and the extent and duration of such protection.

\section{National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road}

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 22 July 1970, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 73 State Highway (Christchurch-Kumara Junction) fronting Lot 1, D.P. 25901, in part Rural Section 37809, Rolleston Survey District XII, to be a limited access road.

\section{Assignment of Foreshore Licence for Buildings for Storing Purposes at Totara North}

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Secretary for Marine hereby gives notice that the licence granted to William John Saies, on 13 April 1964*, to use and occupy a part of the foreshore at Totara North, Whangaroa Harbour, for the purpose of maintaining buildings for storing purposes thereon, is hereby assigned to Guy Goulter Nichollson.

PURSUANT to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Wellington Ships’ Tally Clerks’ Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No. 1134, situated at Waterfront Industry Commission Building, Hinemoa Street, Wellington 1, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on the expiration of 6 weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.
