Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for that Purpose to be Crown Land in the City of New Plymouth

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 22nd day of November 1971.

SCHEDULE

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 34.25 perches situated in the City of New Plymouth, Taranaki R.D., being part Subdivision A, D.P. 1578, part Section 91, Fitzroy District, being the western moiety of that part of Subdivision A, shown on D.P. 2884, and being all the land in Proclamation 1739, Taranaki Land Registry.

Cancellation of a Licence to Erect and Use Electric Lines

PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby cancels a licence dated the 5th day of October 1966, authorising Watene Waenga, farmer, of Cape Runaway, to erect and use certain electric lines. (Gazette, 20 October 1966, p. 1599.)

The Traffic (Dunedin City) Notice No. 1, 1971

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Dunedin City) Notice No. 1, 1971.

  2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  4. The road specified in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  5. The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 22nd day of June 1964†, which relates to Dunedin City and Green Island Borough, is hereby revoked.

Kaikorai Valley Road (from Enson Street to a point 6 chains measured northerly generally along the said road from Barr Street).

  3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
