A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for harbour works and shall vest in the Northland Harbour Board as from the date herein-after mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of November 1971.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 4 acres and 25 perches, situated in Block V, Ruakaka Survey District, North Auckland R.D., and being Motutere or Ngawi Island; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 25646 (S.O. 46981) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of October 1971.

At the Government House at Wellington this 15th day of November 1971
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Broadcasting Corporation Act 1961, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Broadcasting Corporation Salary Order (No. 2) 1971.
    (2) This order shall be deemed to have come into force on the 15th day of January 1971.
  2. Salary of Director-General—The salary of the Director-General of Broadcasting shall be as follows:
    Minimum Maximum Annual Increment
    $15,360 $16,084 $724
  3. Revocation—The Broadcasting Corporation Salary Order 1971 is hereby revoked.

Pursuant to section 15 of the Gaming Amendment Act 1962, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints Sir Woolf Fisher, of Auckland, Harold Iver Austad, Esquire, M.B.E., of Wellington, and Brigadier James Thomas Burrows, C.B.E., D.S.O., E.D., of Christchurch,
to be members of the Board of Control constituted under that Act, for a term of 3 years on and from the 12th day of December 1971.
