Pursuant to section 54 of the Education Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
(1) This order may be cited as the Tokomairo High School Board of Governors Order 1971.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1971. -
There shall be a Board of Governors for the Tokomairo High School which shall be constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Otago Education Board;
(b) Five members elected by the parents of pupils attending the school;
(c) Two members elected by the members of the school committees of Lovell's Flat, Milburn, Milton, and Tikoiti primary schools;
(d) One member appointed by the Bruce County Council and the Milton Borough Council;
(e) Two members co-opted by the Board of Governors itself if and when it thinks fit. -
The Otago Education Board shall cease to control the Tokomairo High School and the sole control of that school shall be vested in the Board of Governors constituted by clause 2 of this order.

Pursuant to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
(1) This order may be cited as the Whakatane Hydatids Control District Order 1971.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. -
The areas comprising the County of Whakatane and the Boroughs of Whakatane, Murupara, and Kawerau are hereby declared a hydatids control district to be called the Whakatane Hydatids Control District.

The Whakatane Hydatids Control Authority is hereby appointed the hydatids control authority for the Whakatane Hydatids Control District.
