IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Rodney County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the realignment of a road, being portion of Warkworth-Leigh Road adjacent to Grandview Avenue, Kendale Avenue, and Wonderview Road (Matheson Bay), within the County of Rodney and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situated in Baxter Street, Warkworth, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. Any person affected must set forth in writing any objection he wishes to make to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and send the same within 40 days from the 10th day of November 1971, being the day of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Baxter Street, Warkworth. Notice is further given that plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk and Chief Executive Officer to the said Council, situated in Bank Street, Whangarei, and are there available for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during office hours.
