Revocation of Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Opotiki County Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation purposes.

Gisborne Land District—Opotiki County

Lot 4, D.P. 3951, being part Section 13, Opotiki Suburban, situated in Block III, Opotiki Survey District: area, 1 rood and 12.9 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 3C, folio 614.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 25) 1971

Pursuant to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 25) 1971.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. Goods of the class specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff item in the Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws

Pursuant to section 8A of the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine and Fisheries hereby gives notice that with respect to the waters of Lake Wiritoa controlled by Wanganui County Council pursuant to section 8A of the Harbours Act 1950, he approves the Wanganui County Council Lake Control Bylaw 1970, made by the Wanganui County Council by special order and passed at a special meeting held on Friday, 12 December 1969, and confirmed on Friday, 6 February 1970.

Amending Foreshore Licence Held by Trustees for Little Akaloa Boat Club for Slipway and Boat Launching Ramp at Little Akaloa, Banks Peninsula

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine and Fisheries hereby gives notice that the licence of 18 February 1969* authorising trustees for the Little Akaloa Boat Club to use and occupy part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Little Akaloa as a site for slipway and boat launching ramp as shown on plans M.D. 9643 and M.D. 12159, is hereby amended by deleting the words “Little Akaloa Boat Club” wherever they appear and substituting “Little Akaloa Boat and Beach Club” and deleting the names “Derek Luke Waghorn and Malcolm James Pearson” and substituting the names “Robin Dale Waghorn and Susan Patricia Iggo”.
