LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Gas Supplementary Loan, 1970

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of five thousand eight hundred dollars ($5,800), authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Gas Loan 1969 of $58,000 was sanctioned, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0043 cents in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Levin Borough Council held on 27 January 1971.

WAIRUA BRIDGE RATING DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that the land in the part of the Northland Catchment Area draining to the Wairua River described in the Schedule hereto has been designated and assigned the distinguishing name of Wairua Bridge Rating District.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area situated in the County of Whangarei comprising 4,900 acres, more or less, bounded as follows:

Commencing at a point in the middle of the Wairua River east of the south-easternmost corner of Section 1, D.P. 26371, Block XII, Mangakahia Survey District, along a right line to the corner aforesaid, along the southern and western boundaries of the said Section 1, thence along the western boundary of Section 2, D.P. 26371, Block XII, aforesaid, to the Kaikohe-Maungatapere Main Road, thence along a right line being the projection in a northerly direction of the western boundary of the said Section 2, to the southern boundary of Section 63, Block XII, aforesaid, thence westerly along the southern boundary of the said Section 63, and northerly along the western boundary of the said Section 63, being also the eastern boundary of the Puketitoi Road, to and along the north-western boundaries of Section 38, Block XII, aforesaid, Section 56, Block IX, Purua Survey District, Section 59, Block IX, aforesaid, and its continuation across the public road to the western corner of Section 33, Block II, Purua Survey District, along the western boundary of the said Section 33, to and along the western and northern boundaries of Section 32, Block II, aforesaid, thence easterly along the northern boundary of Section 45, Block II, aforesaid, to its intersection with the northern boundary of Section 20, Block II, aforesaid, thence easterly along the said northern boundary of the said Section 20, to its intersection with the south-western corner of Section 46, Block II, aforesaid, thence along the western and northern boundaries of the said Section 46, the north-western boundaries of Sections 44 and 42, the western boundaries of Sections 40, 38, and 47, all these Sections being of Block II, aforesaid, to the intersection of the western boundary of the said Section 47 with the western boundary of Section 21, Block II, aforesaid, thence southerly along the said western boundary of the said Section 21 to the southernmost corner of the said Section 21, along a right line across the Wairua River to the westernmost corner of Section S.W. 114, Ruatangata Parish, Block II, aforesaid, along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of the said Section S.W. 114, to and south-westerly along the north-western boundary of the public road forming the southern boundary of Section S.W. 114, Ruatangata Parish, Block II, aforesaid, and the south-western boundaries of Sections 160, 117, and 118, all the aforesaid sections being of Block II, aforesaid, to a point opposite the westernmost corner of Section S.W. 123, Ruatangata Parish Block II, aforesaid, along a right line to the corner, aforesaid, along the south-western boundaries of Sections S.W. 123 and M. 123, Ruatangata Parish, Block II, aforesaid, to a point opposite the easternmost corner of Section 30, Block IX, Purua Survey District, along a right line to the corner, aforesaid, along the southern boundary of

the said Section 30, to its intersection with Kokopu Road, thence along the southern boundary of the said Section 30 to the southernmost point of the said Section 30, thence by a right line to the north-easternmost corner of Section 15, Block IX, aforesaid, thence south along the eastern boundaries of the said Section 15 and Section 34, Block IX, aforesaid, and south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 38 and 39, both of Block IX, aforesaid, to the southernmost corner of Section 39, thence along a right line to the westernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 56649, of Section 41, Block IX, aforesaid, along the western boundary of the said Lot 1, D.P. 56649, thence south-west along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 13B2A, 13B2B2, and 62, all the aforesaid sections being of Block IX, aforesaid, to the south-eastern corner of the said Section 62, thence across the Kaikohe-Maungatapere Main Road by a right line to the north-easternmost corner of Section 58, Block IX, aforesaid, thence westerly and southerly along the northern and western boundaries of the said Section 58, thence westerly along the southern boundary of Section 67, Block IX, aforesaid, to the Wharekohe West Road, thence southerly along the western boundaries of Sections 37 and 38, of Block XIII, Purua Survey District, to a point opposite the south-easternmost corner of Section 42, Block XII, Mangakahia Survey District, thence along a right line across the Wharekohe West Road to the aforesaid corner, along the southern boundary of the said Section 42 to the south-westernmost corner of the said Section 42, thence by right line to the point of commencement.
