Appointing Honorary Welfare Officers Under the Maori Welfare Act 1962
PURSUANT to section 5 (1) of the Maori Welfare Act 1962, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby appoints the persons named in the Schedule hereto as honorary welfare officers for a further 3-year term.

Appointment of Examiner
PURSUANT to the provisions of sections 20 and 21 of the Shipping and Seamen Act 1952, I, Allan McCready, Minister of Marine and Fisheries do hereby appoint Frank Robert Keer-Keer to be an examiner for the purpose of granting
(a) certificates of competency as master of a restricted limit launch,
(b) local launchmen's licences,
(c) certificates of competency as inshore fishing skipper, and
(d) certificates of competency as boatmaster,
as well as an examiner of applicants for sight tests, in terms of the Shipping and Seamen Act 1952, as from the date hereof.

Fixing Date on Which Certain Returns Under the Fire Services Act 1949 are to be Furnished
PURSUANT to section 52 of the Fire Services Act 1949, it is hereby notified that the returns required by that section (as amended by the Fire Services Amendment Acts 1953, 1956, and 1959), showing the amount of premiums received by or due to fire insurance companies during the year ended 31 December 1970, shall be transmitted to the Fire Service Council in the manner prescribed by the said section on or before 5 March 1971.
