Land Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Block II, Te Mata Survey District
ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes, and shall vest in the Hawke's Bay Catchment Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of October 1971.

All those pieces of land situated in Block II, Te Mata Survey District, Hawke's Bay County, Hawke's Bay R.D., described as follows:

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 25565 (S.O. 6112) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above-mentioned.

Allocating Land Purchased for the S.I.M.T. Railway at Riccarton to the Purposes of a Street
ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become vested as street; and that the said street shall be under the control of the Riccarton Borough Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

All that piece of land described as follows:
A. R. P. Railway land being
0 0 7.5 Part Lots 10 and 17, D.P. 1676, being part R.S. 163 and being part of the land comprised and described in certificates of title, Volume 230, folios 114 and 115.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 26013 (S.O. 11664) deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 4th day of October 1971.
