Name
Hall Col .... A mountain pass on the main divide
between Canterbury and Westland.
Map reference, S.58/8226.
Mackintosh Stream .... A tributary of the Opihi River flowing
from the Two Thumb Range.
Map reference, S. 101/2995.
McCabe, Mount .... Peak just west of Lake Tennyson.
Map reference, S. 40/093183.
North Ridge .... The north ridge of Mount Cook,
Southern Alps.
Nuns Veil Glacier.... The glacier descending from The
Nuns Veil, a peak in the Liebig
Range.
Rangitata Island .... Locality situated between the North
and South Branches of the Rangi-
tata River. Not "Hearntown".
Rankin Pass .... A mountain pass in the Hall Range,
above Rankin Stream. Map refer-
ence, S. 79/0447.
Sealy, Lake .... A small lake at the north end of the
Sealy Range. Map reference, S.
79/7433.
South Ridge .... Ridge on Mount Cook leading from
Endeavour Col to South Peak.
St. James Range .... Mountain Range extending in a
southerly direction from a point on
the Spenser Mountains, 1½ miles
west of Belvedere (peak), through
Mount Princess, Malings Pass,
Mount Seymour, Fowlers Pass,
Mount Pickett, Mount Horrible,
Edwards Pass, Mount St. Patrick,
to Mount Captain (Trig. DT).
Taranaki Peak .... A peak on the Hall Range between
the Cass and Godley valleys. Map
reference, S. 79/0745.
Te Ruahine Point .... The eastern headland of Akaroa
Harbour. Map reference, S.
94/291124. Instead of "Truini
Point".
The Needles .... A group of peaks in the Gammack
Range just above Joseph Ridge.
Map reference, S. 79/9530.
Tin Hut Stream .... A western tributary of Cass River.
Map reference, S. 79/0230.
Walter, Mount .... A peak just south of "Grave Col", a
col on the main divide. Map refer-
ence S. 58/8225.
Zurbriggen Ridge .... A ridge on Mount Cook extending
from Grand Plateau towards the
North Peak.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

Goldie Point .... A coastal point on the western side
of Otago Harbour situated between
Careys Bay and Rocky Point. Map
reference, S. 164/256799.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

Herrick Creek .... For the stream at the southern side
of Wet Jacket Arm, Dusky Sound,
which enters the fiord almost due
east of Oke Island. Map reference,
N.Z.M.S. 122/G3.

ANTIPODES ISLANDS

Alert Bay .... The bay on the eastern coast of
Antipodes Island almost opposite
Leeward Island.
Central Plateau .... The high, central, raised area just
south of Mount Galloway on
Antipodes Island.
Crater Bay .... The bay on the eastern coast of
Antipodes Island between "Alert
Bay" and "Stella Bay".
Dougall Stream .... The stream draining from the eastern
slopes of Mount Galloway to "Alert
Bay".
Hut Cove .... The small bay just to the west of
Reef Point on Antipodes Island.
North Plains .... The generally flat, open area behind
Crater and Alert Bays and below
the northern slopes of Mount Gal-
loway.
Reliance Ridge .... The ridge feature forming an arc
above "South Bay" on Antipodes
Island.

Name
Ringdove Stream .... The stream draining into Ringdove
Bay, Antipodes Island.
South Bay .... The large, open bay at the southern
coast of Antipodes Island.
Stella Bay .... The bay on the eastern coast of
Antipodes Island just to the south
of Reef Point.
Waterhouse, Mount .... The peak, approximate height 1,310 ft
above Ringdove Bay on Antipodes
Island.

PURSUANT to section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, the
Standards Council, on 24 September 1971, amended the under-
mentioned standard specifications by the incorporation of the

Standards Council, on 24 September 1971, revoked the under-
