“THAT the number of elective members of the Board be increased to eight.”

Notice Reducing Membership of Hunua Pest Destruction Board

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, the following resolution, made by the Hunua Pest Destruction Board on the 10th day of June 1971, is hereby published.


RESOLUTION

“THAT the number of elected members be reduced from seven to five at the forthcoming elections.”

Fixing of Number of Members in Wards on Amuri Pest Destruction Board

PURSUANT to section 33 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, the following resolution, made by the Amuri Pest Destruction Board on the 2nd day of July 1971, is hereby published.


RESOLUTION

“THAT the wards consist of boundaries of the old boards, that is Cheviot, Waiau, Amuri, Parnassus, Hanmer, and Pahau and that the number of members to be elected from each ward be as follows: Cheviot two, Waiau two, Amuri two, Parnassus one, Hanmer one, Pahau one—total of 9.”

Reduction of Members of Waitomo Pest Destruction Board

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, the following resolution, made by the Waitomo Pest Destruction Board on the 25th day of August 1971, is hereby published.


RESOLUTION

“THAT membership of the Board be reduced from seven elective members to five elective members effective from the forthcoming general election of members.”

The Traffic (Manukau City) Notice No. 2, 1971


PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.


NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Manukau City) Notice No. 2, 1971.

  2. The bridge specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  3. So much of the Traffic (Manukau City) Notice No. 1, 1971, dated the 23rd day of June 1971†, as relates to Mangere Bridge, in Manukau City, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Manukau City:

Mangere Bridge (from a point 8 chains measured southerly generally along the said bridge from the intersection of Queen Street and Gloucester Park Road to Waterfront Road).

The Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 1, 1971


PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.


NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 1, 1971.

  2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  4. The Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 1, 1971, dated the 21st day of May 1971† under the Transport Act 1962, which relates to Waimairi County, is hereby revoked.


FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimairi County at Marshland:

Prestons Road (from a point 32 chains measured westerly generally along Prestons Road from Marshland Road to Hills Road).


SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimairi County at Brooklands, Spencerville, and at Marshland:

Anfield Street.

Chalford Street.

Charon Street.

Dartford Street.

Harbour Road (from a point 6 chains measured westerly generally along the said road from Lower Styx Road to the eastern end of Harbour Road).

Hills Road (from McSaveney’s to Prestons Road).

Lower Styx Road (from a point 16 chains measured southerly generally along the said road from Heyders Road to a point 14 chains measured northerly generally along Lower Styx Road from Spencerville Road and from Harbour Road to a point 8 chains measured southerly generally along the said Lower Styx Road from Earlham Street).

Marshland Road (from a point 6 chains measured northerly generally along the said road from Prestons Road to a point 18 chains measured southerly generally along the said Marshland Road from Prestons Road).
