Notice of Intention to Take an Easement Over Land for Post Office Purposes (V.H.F. Station), in Block III, Pihanga Survey District, Taupo County (Access to V.H.F. Station on the Northern Slopes of Mount Pihanga near Turangi)

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take an easement of right of way over the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto for post office purposes vesting in Her Majesty the Queen the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way, with the right for Her Majesty's servants, agents, workmen, licensees, and invitees to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses or other animals and vehicles, over the said land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right of way for the purpose of providing access to the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, such right of way to be held appurtenant thereto; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the easement of right of way so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Turangi and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the taking of the said easement of right of way should, if they have any objections to the taking of the said easement of right of way, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington, and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
