NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1971, No. 34.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Maori Land Development Notice

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

Setting Apart European Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the European land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a burial ground for the common use of the owners thereof.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Acquisition of Land as Bryant Memorial Scenic Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto, together with an appurtenant right of way and subject to a water easement created by Transfer S. 520964 (South Auckland Registry), has been acquired as a reserve for scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of Part IV of the said Act, to be known as the Bryant Memorial Scenic Reserve.
