Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for the Purposes of the
Ngauranga-Basin Reserve Motorway in the City of
Wellington

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement
to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in
the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from the
Wellington Hospital Board by Cyril Eyton Kay, of Wellington,
Air Vice-Marshal (Retired) in the Royal New Zealand Air
Force, by virtue of Memorandum of Lease No. 781322,
recorded in certificate of title, Volume 480, folio 275, Wellington
Land Registry, is hereby taken for the purposes of the
Ngauranga-Basin Reserve Motorway from and after the
20th day of September 1971.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 21.5 perches situated in the
City of Wellington, Wellington R.D., being part of the Town
Belt (Hospital Reserve) of the Town of Wellington, and being
also Lot 3 on Deeds Plan No. 432. All Memorandum of
Lease No. 781322, Wellington Land Registry.

Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Vested, and Land
Taken and Vested in Blocks III, IV, and V, Waihemo Survey
District

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the
land described in the First Schedule hereto; also hereby pro-
claims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto and declares that the road first to twenty-fourthly
(inclusive) described in the said Second Schedule, when so
closed, shall vest in Shag Valley Station Ltd., a duly incor-
porated company having its registered office at Dunedin, and
subject also to the road twenty-fourthly described in the said
Second Schedule when so closed and vested, being incorporated
into Lease No. 239536, Otago Land Registry, held from the
said Shag Valley Station Ltd. by Macraes Pest Destruction
Board and the road twenty-fifthly to thirty-fourthly (inclusive)
described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, shall
vest in Frank Robert Pile, of Dunback, farmer, subject to
Memoranda of Mortgage Nos. 364165, 307118, and 225980,
Otago Land Registry, and the road thirty-fifthly to thirty-
eighthly (inclusive) described in the said Second Schedule,
when so closed, shall vest in F. R. Pile Ltd., a duly incor-
porated company having its registered office at Dunrobin,
No. 3 R.D., Palmerston, subject to Memorandum of Mortgage

No. 362717, Otago Land Registry, and the road thirty-ninthly
to forty-firstly (inclusive) described in the said Second
Schedule, when so closed, shall vest in Douglas Raymond
Matheson, of Morrisons, farmer, subject to Memorandum of
Mortgage No. 244012, Otago Land Registry; also hereby takes
the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, pursuant to
subsection (6) of the said section 29, and declares that the
land described in the said Third Schedule shall vest in
Douglas Raymond Matheson, aforesaid, subject to Memo-
randum of Mortgage No. 244012, Otago Land Registry.
