The Otumoetai Licensing Trust Constitution Notice 1971

PURSUANT to the Local Licensing Trust Regulations*, the Minister of Justice hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Otumoetai Licensing Trust Constitution Notice 1971.

  2. There is hereby constituted a local licensing trust, to be called the Otumoetai Licensing Trust.

  3. (i) The first election of members of the trust shall be on Saturday, 9 October 1971.

(ii) The returning officer for the first election of members of the trust shall be Clifford George Marchant, Town Clerk, City of Tauranga.

  1. The area within which polls shall be taken for elections of members of the trust shall be the whole of the area described in the Schedule to this notice.

  2. The area within which the trust shall distribute its profits shall be the whole of the area described in the Schedule to this notice.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of Otumoetai, Tauranga City, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the mean high-water mark of the Tauranga Harbour in line with the western boundary of the city and thence southerly generally along the boundary to its intersection with the Kopurerena Stream; thence north-easterly generally along the Kopurerena Stream to a point on the mean high-water mark of Waikareao Estuary and along that high-water mark to the point of commencement.

Appointment of Date of First General Election of Reconstituted Porirua Licensing Trust

PURSUANT to section 11A (1) of the Licensing Trusts Act 1949, the Minister of Justice hereby appoints Saturday, the 9th day of October 1971, as the day for the first general election of all the elective members of the Porirua Licensing Trust, as reconstituted by the Porirua Licensing Trust Order 1955, Amendment No. 1.
