Through Traffic—Freight charges to and from sidings on the Castlecliff Branch are to be computed as follows, except in the case of traffic charged at local rates operative from or to the respective sidings:

Consignments in wagon lots (subject to a minimum of 30 cwt as for a private siding) will be accepted for transit to and from the public siding at Castlecliff. Freight charges will be computed on Wanganui mileage, plus 4 miles.

  1. Haulage Charges: Ahuriri - Napier Port Line

  2. Mileage—Except as otherwise provided, the charges for goods or livestock conveyed to or from Napier Port from or to Napier and stations beyond will be computed on Ahuriri mileage plus 2 miles.

  3. Local Traffic—Local traffic hauled between the following points will be charged under the provisions of section 97, paragraph 3, General Scale of Charges:

Ahuriri and Napier Port.
Napier Port and private sidings between Ahuriri and Napier Port.
Ahuriri and private sidings between Ahuriri and Napier Port.
