Scheme 1:
(a) Headworks consisting of an intake with a pipeline leading to the powerhouse giving a static head of approximately 311 ft.
(b) Pelton wheel and powerhouse situated in Section 1, Block IX, Gore Survey District, with all necessary equipment for generating electricity.
(c) Tail race from the powerhouse to an unnamed stream.

Declaration that Land is a Public Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Rotorua County Council on the 4th day of May 1971:
"That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rotorua in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be, a public reserve for education (pre-school) purposes within the meaning of the said Act."
