PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the County of Rotorua
(Notice No. Ag. 10748)
PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture
under the Department of Agriculture Act 1953, for the pur-
poses of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following special
order made by the Rotorua County Council on 15 December
1970 is hereby published.
SPECIAL ORDER
"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the
Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Rotorua County Council hereby
resolves by way of special order that the plants described in
the Schedule below be declared noxious weeds within the
whole of the County of Rotorua, as from the date of
Gazetting (section 3 (4)).
SCHEDULE
Welted thistle (Carduus crispus).
Sedge (Carex longebrachiata, also known as Carex longi-
folia)".
