PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- This order shall come into force on 1 March 1971.
- The area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby included in the City of Manukau.
- The alteration of the boundaries of the said city hereinbefore made, shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District containing 1 acre 1 rood 10 perches, more or less, being reclaimed bed of the Tamaki River, in Block III, Otahuhu Survey District, and more particularly shown coloured yellow on Survey Office Plan 45178.

PURSUANT to the Police Act 1958, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER - Title and commencement - (1) This order may be cited as the Police Salary Order 1971.
(2) This order shall be deemed to have come into force on the 15th day of July 1970. - Salary of Commissioner of Police - The salary of the Commissioner of Police shall be as follows:
Minimum Maximum Annual Increment
$11,501 $12,051 $550 - Revocation - The Police Salary Order (No. 3) 1970 is hereby revoked.

Waitemata County Council Appointed to Manage Swanson Cemetery
ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General
PURSUANT to section 23 of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint the Waitemata County Council to have the control and management of the Swanson Cemetery, being the land described in the Schedule hereto, as from the 31st day of December 1970.

SWANSON CEMETERY
ALL that piece of land in the North Auckland Land District containing 5 acres, more or less, being Allotment 192, Wai-pareira Parish, situated in Block XIII, Waitemata Survey District (S.O. Plan 19116).
