Officiating Ministers for 1971—Notice No. 29

Pursuant to the Marriage Act 1955, the following names of officiating ministers within the meaning of the said Act are published for general information.

The Church of the Province of New Zealand, commonly called The Church of England

The Reverend Jack Winston Smith.

The Presbyterian Church of New Zealand

The Reverend William Ralph Harvey.

The Roman Catholic Church

The Reverend John Francis Williams.

Hauraki Plains College Board of Governors Notice 1971

Pursuant to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Hauraki Plains College Board of Governors Notice 1971.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1972.

  2. The Board of Governors of Hauraki Plains College shall be constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the South Auckland Education Board;
(b) One member elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school, being parents who are resident in the Kaihere School District or the Mangatarata School District;
(c) Two members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school, being parents who are resident in the Kerepehi School District;
(d) One member being elected by the parents of pupils attending the school, being parents who are resident in the Maramarua School District;
(e) Two members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school, being parents who are resident in the Ngatea School District;
(f) One member elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school, being parents who are resident in the Turua School District or the Kopuarahi School District;
(g) One member elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school, being parents who are resident in the Kaiawa School District and the Waitakaruru School District;
(h) One member appointed by the Hauraki Plains County Council; and
(i) One member co-opted by the Board of Governors itself and when it thinks fit.

This notice is in substitution for the Hauraki Plains College Board of Governors Order 1967*.

Wainuiomata Secondary Schools Board of Governors Notice 1971

Pursuant to section 50 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Wainuiomata Secondary Schools Board of Governors Notice 1971.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1972.

  2. The Wainuiomata Secondary Schools Board of Governors shall be constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the Wellington Education Board.
(b) Four members elected by the parents of pupils attending Wainuiomata College.
(c) Four members elected by the parents of pupils attending the secondary school which presently is known as Wainuiomata College Number Two.
(d) One member appointed by the Committee of Parkway Intermediate School.
(e) One member appointed by the Committee of Wainui- omata Intermediate School.
(f) One member appointed by the Hutt County Council.

  1. This notice is in substitution for the Wainuiomata College Board of Governors Order 1966*.

Control of Wainuiomata College Number Two

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the control of the secondary school which presently is known as Wainuiomata College Number Two has been vested in the Wainuiomata College Board of Governors.

Crown Land Set Apart for Road in Block XV, Rangiora Survey District, Eyre County

Pursuant to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for road from and after the 16th day of August 1971.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 16.6 perches situated in Block XV, Rangiora Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being old stream bed; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 25207 (S.O. 11294) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Crown Land Set Apart for a Teacher's Residence in the Borough of Alexandra

Pursuant to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for a teacher's residence from and after the 16th day of August 1971.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 24.1 perches situated in the Borough of Alexandra, Otago R.D., being Section 46, Block XXXV, Town of Alexandra, as shown on a plan lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Dunedin as No. S.O. 16967.
