Privileges and Immunities of Representatives and Their Staffs Attending the South Pacific Forum
WHEREAS the South Pacific Forum is being held in Wellington in August 1971:
And whereas the said forum is being attended by representatives of the Government of New Zealand and by representatives of the Governments of Australia, the Cook Islands, Fiji, Nauru, Tonga, and Western Samoa:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 11 of the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Act 1968, the Minister of Foreign Affairs hereby directs that-
(a) Every representative of the said Governments (other than the Government of New Zealand) shall be accorded the privileges and immunities conferred by or by virtue of Part I of the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Act 1968 on a diplomatic agent; and
(b) All the members of the official staff of any such representative shall be accorded the privileges and immunities conferred by or by virtue of Part I of the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Act 1968 on members of the diplomatic staff of a diplomatic mission.

Declaring Land in the South Auckland Land District to be Crown Land Subject to the Land Act 1948
Pursuant to the Coal Mines Act 1925, the Minister of Mines hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
Part of old bed of Wahi Lake situated in Block XV, Rangiriri Survey District: area, 3 acres 2 roods 13 perches, more or less, excepting all seams or beds of coal and all other minerals and metals; as the same is more particularly delineated on a plan lodged in the Head Office of the Mines Department, Wellington, under file 6/4/138, and thereon edged red.

Pursuant to section 7 of the Child Welfare Act 1925, the Minister of Education hereby notifies that the premises situated as listed in the Schedule below are established as an institution within the meaning of the said Act and shall be known by the name shown in the Schedule.

The Torbay Cemetery Closing Notice 1971
Pursuant to the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, the Minister of Health hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Torbay Cemetery Closing Notice 1971.

  2. It is hereby directed that the burial ground known as the Torbay Cemetery, being the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto, shall be closed and burials therein discontinued after the 31st day of January 1972.

  3. As from the 31st day of January 1972 the control and management of the closed burial ground known as the Torbay Cemetery shall vest in the General Trust Board of the Diocese of Auckland.
    SCHEDULE
    All that piece of land containing 1 acre and 1.9 perches, more or less, being Lot 2, D.P. 60630, and being part Allotment 189, Takapuna Parish, situated in Block XVI, Waiwera Survey District, and Block IV, Waitemata Survey District; and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 571, folio 254 (North Auckland Registry).

Pursuant to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be set apart for the Christchurch Northern Motorway; the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be set apart for road; and the land described in the Third Schedule hereto to be set apart for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road from and after the 9th day of August 1971.

THIRD SCHEDULE

All that piece of land containing 0.1 of a perch situated in Block XV, Rangiora Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being part Lot 3, D.P. 11860, being part Rural Section 366; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 25207 (S.O. 11294) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Agreement for Grant of Right of Way in Favour of William Henry Stone and William Lloyd Stone Over Land in Block III, Rangiriri Survey District, Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes, Assented to
Whereas by a Declaration dated 1 April 1971, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 22 April 1971, No. 29, p. 707, all those pieces of land containing together 12 acres and 11.5 perches situated in Block III, Rangiriri Survey District, being parts Allotments 224, 225, and 226, Parish of Whangamarino, were taken for soil conservation and river control purposes; and whereas William Henry Stone and William Lloyd Stone were entitled to compensation in respect of the taking of the said land; and whereas the Minister of Works has agreed to grant to the said William Henry Stone and William Lloyd Stone a
