The South Canterbury Electric Power District Representation Order 1971

At the Government House at Wellington this 26th day of July 1971 Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
(i) This order may be cited as the South Canterbury Electric Power District Representation Order 1971.
(ii) This order shall come into force on the date of the next general election of members of local authorities. -
The constituent districts of the South Canterbury Electric Power District, which are bracketed together in the first column of the Schedule hereto, shall be combined districts for the purposes of the said Act.

The local authority of the constituent district distinguished in the first column of the said Schedule by the letter "(P)" shall be the principal local authority for the said combined district.

The number of representatives of each constituent district or combined district of the South Canterbury Electric Power Board shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that constituent district or combined district.

The Order in Council apportioning representation on the South Canterbury Electric Power Board, dated 17 November 1922, and published in the Gazette on 23 November 1922, as amended by an Order in Council dated 21 March 1955, and published in the Gazette on 31 March 1955 at p. 589, and further amended by paragraph 4 of an Order in Council dated 13 April 1970, and published in the Gazette on 30 April 1970, at p. 748, is hereby revoked.

Authorising the Marlborough Harbour Board to Reclaim Crown Land at Elaine Bay, Pelorus Sound

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 175 (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Marlborough Harbour Board to reclaim from Elaine Bay, Pelorus Sound, an area of 16 perches, more or less, of Crown land as shown hatched yellow on plan M.D. 14112 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

Authorising the Mount Wellington Borough Council to Reclaim Crown Land in the Tamaki River

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 175 (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Mount Wellington Borough Council to reclaim from the Tamaki River an area of 1 rood and 4 perches, more or less, of Crown land as shown coloured yellow on plan M.D. 14079 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

Pursuant to section 175 (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Manukau City Council to reclaim an area of 3 roods and 33 perches, more or less, of Crown land at Pakuranga Creek, Tamaki River, as shown edged red on plan M.D. 14113 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

Directing the Sale of Land in the Borough of Northcote
ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 26th day of July 1971 Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired, and hereby concurs in the sale of such land on deferred payments extending over a period not exceeding 5 years and on such terms and conditions as the Auckland Harbour Bridge Authority may determine.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land containing 20 acres 1 rood situated in Block XII, Waitemata Survey District, Borough of Northcote, North Auckland R.D., being all the land on D.P. 460, and being Allotment 19, Parish of Takapuna. All certificate of title, No. 10B/1178, North Auckland Land Registry.
