Tariff Notice No. 1971/79—Application for Continuation of Approval

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for continuation of the following approval of the Minister of Customs:

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of this application should do so in writing on or before 19 August 1971. Submissions should include a reference to the application number, Tariff item, and description of goods concerned, be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, and supported by information as to:

(a) The quality, range, supply, etc., of the above-described goods produced in New Zealand; and

(b) The landed cost and selling price, including c.d.v., and cost into store in terms of f.o.b., insurance, freight, exchange, and other landing charges, duty, etc., of equivalent goods of overseas origin.

Tariff Notice No. 1971/80—Application for Variation of Approval

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for variation of a current approval of the Minister of Customs as follows:

Yarns of cotton, silk, man-made fibres, and mixtures thereof, containing discontinuous or bulked continuous man-made fibres, and weighing more than 150g per 9,000m, viz:
Yarns of approved types having a current domestic value not exceeding 90c per pound when declared by a manufacturer for use by him only in knitting processes:
Approved:
(1) Spun rayon or fibro .. .. ..
(2) Mixtures of spun rayon and cotton ..
(3) Spun rayon and linen yard .. ..
Yarns of approved types when declared by a manufacturer for use by him only in reinforcing the heels and toes of woollen socks and half hose:

(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.
