Reduction of Number of Members of Taupo Pest Destruction Board (No. 68 Ag. 20891A)
PURSUANT to section 32 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, the following resolution passed by the Taupo Pest Destruction Board on the 25th day of June 1971 is hereby published.
RESOLUTION
"THAT in accordance with the provisions of section 32 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, the Board resolve that the number of elective members of the Board be decreased to seven with effect from the elections to be held on 9 October 1971."

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (60-miles-an-hour) Notice No. 1, 1971.
- The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 60-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27B of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Southland County:
No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) (from a point 4 chains measured northerly generally along the said State Highway from Centre Bush-Otapiri Road to a point 35 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Brices Road).
Situated within Wallace County:
No. 99 State Highway (Invercargill-Tuataupe) (from a point 22 chains measured westerly generally along the said State highway from Thornbury-Waimatuku Road at Waimatuku to a point 20 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from Riverton-Otautau Road).

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 1, 1971.

The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 1, 1970, dated the 14th day of September 1970†, under the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to the Paparua County at Tai Tapu is hereby revoked.

No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa) (from a point 4 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Michaels Road to a point 4 chains measured northerly generally along the said State highway from the Lincoln - Tai Tapu Road).

The Traffic (Mangonui County) Notice No. 2, 1971
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Mangonui County) Notice No. 2, 1971.
- The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
- The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
- The notice dated the 14th day of October 1970†, which relates to the Mangonui County at Awanui, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Mangonui County at Awanui:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 4 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Gills Road to the Awanui River Bridge).

Declaring Land Taken for the Purposes of a Railway from Foxton to Manawatu at Foxton and Not Required for that Purpose to be Crown Land
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 1st day of February 1971.
