WHEREAS by Maori Land Development Notice Gisborne 1971, No. 24, a certain notice under Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 is revoked:
Now, therefore, in partial replacement of such notice, the Board of Maori Affairs, acting pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, hereby gives notice as follows.
NOTICE
1.This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Gisborne 1971, No. 32.
2.The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto, the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release a certain parcel of that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

Special Order Made by Mangonui County Council Altering Riding Boundaries and Riding Representation
PURSUANT to section 88 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby publishes the following special order made by the Mangonui County Council.

SPECIAL ORDER
THAT in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 23 of the Counties Act 1956, and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, the Mangonui County Council hereby resolves, by way of special order, as follows:
1.That the present division of the County of Mangonui into eight ridings is revoked and in lieu thereof the said County shall be redivided into eight ridings, these to be called respectively, Houhora Riding, Awanui Riding, Lake Ohia Riding, Oruru Riding, East Coast Riding, Kaitaia Riding, Ahipara Riding, and Victoria Valley Riding, which said ridings are respectively described in the Schedule hereto.

That the said Mangonui County Council shall consist of eight members, who shall be elected on the basis that the electors of each of the said ridings referred to in clause 1 above shall each elect one Councillor.

That the alteration hereby made shall take effect on and after the 9th day of October 1971, except in so far and to such extent as may be necessary for preparing any roll or otherwise providing for the general election of the Councillors to be held on the said 9th day of October 1971.

HOUHORA RIDING
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, in the County of Mangonui bounded by a line commencing on the sea coast at the southernmost corner of Section 1, Block VI, Opoe Survey District and proceeding north-westerly, easterly, and southerly generally along the sea coast being the boundary of the County of Mangonui as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1918, page 1685, to the middle of the mouth of the Te Kahuna Creek in Block I, Rangaunu Survey District; thence south-westerly generally up the middle of the said Te Kahuna Creek to and along the north-western boundary of Wharemaru Block to its intersection with the north-eastern boundary of Section 32, Block IV, Opoe Survey District, and along the north-eastern boundaries of that Section 32 and Section 5, along the north-western boundary of the said Section 5 to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 4 and along a right line across an unformed public road, to and along the northern and western boundaries of the said Section 4 and that boundary produced across Srhoj Road, to and south-westerly generally along the south-eastern side of that road and the eastern side of the Tangoake-Landing Waipapakauri Road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 47; thence westerly generally along a right line across the last-named road to and along the northern boundaries of
