Revocation of Appointment of Officer Authorised to Take and Receive Statutory Declarations

Pursuant to section 9 of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957, His Excellency the Governor-General has revoked the appointment of the officer in the service of the Crown, specified in the Schedule below, to take and receive statutory declarations under the said Act.

Reservation of Land and Appointment of the Minister of Internal Affairs to Control and Manage

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for wildlife management purposes, and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, appoints the Minister of the Crown for the time being having the administration of the Wildlife Act 1953 to control and manage the said reserve, subject to the provisions of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 and the Wildlife Act 1953.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 4, Block V, Mararoa Survey District: area, 41 acres 2 roods and 31 perches, more or less (S.O. 8077).

Appointment of Customs Airport in Niue

Pursuant to section 30 of the Customs Act 1966 and section 654 of the Niue Act 1966, the Minister of Island Affairs hereby appoints the Hanan Aerodrome described in the Schedule hereto to be a Customs airport.

SCHEDULE

ALL that land situated in the Districts of Alofi and Tamakautonga in the island of Niue, comprising 205 acres 2 roods 16 perches, as shown on Plan 90, deposited in the Land Court Office, Niue.

Appointment of Examination Station at Customs Airport in Niue

Pursuant to section 31 of the Customs Act 1966 and section 654 of the Niue Act 1966, the Comptroller of Customs in Niue hereby appoints the standing area immediately adjacent to the apron area of the Hanan Aerodrome to be an examination station for the examination of goods subject to the control of the Customs.

Appointment of Customs Examining Place in New Zealand

Pursuant to powers delegated to me by the Comptroller of Customs under section 9 of the Customs Act 1966, and pursuant to section 32 of the Customs Act 1966, I, Michael John O’Connor, the Collector of Customs at Auckland, hereby appoint the place described in the First Schedule hereto to be a place for the examination of goods subject to the control of Customs, and I revoke the appointment of the place described in the Second Schedule hereto as a place for the examination of goods subject to the control of Customs.

Reappointment of Member of New Zealand Dairy Board

Pursuant to section 3 (2) (c) of the Dairy Board Act 1961, the Board has received advice from the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company Ltd. that Ronald William Greenough, of 16 College Street, Te Awamutu, has been reappointed for a further term of office of 4 years from the 1st day of July 1971, as a member of the New Zealand Dairy Board.
