Notice Calling Final Meeting

IN the matter of S. J. Mathews Ltd. (in liquidation), notice is hereby given in pursuance of section 291 of the Companies Act 1955, that a general meeting of the company and a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will be held in the Boardroom of N.Z. National Creditmen’s Association (Auckland Adjustments) Ltd., Third Floor, T and G. Building, Wellesley Street West, Auckland 1, on Friday the 5th day of February 1971, at 2.15 p.m. for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and to receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Redemption Loan No. 2 1970, of $8,800

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Redemption Loan No. 2, 1970 of $8,800, authorised to be raised by the Nelson Harbour Board for the purpose of supplementing the appropriate portion of the accumulated sinking fund of one thousand two hundred dollars so as to redeem at maturity that part of Port Development Loan No. 2, 1962, Third Portion which matures on 1 December 1970, the said Nelson Harbour Board hereby makes the special rate of $0.00000926 in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Nelson Harbour Board District (being the district as constituted prior to the passing of the Nelson Harbour Board Order 1968), and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Nelson Harbour Board on the 16th day of November 1970.

HAWKE’S BAY COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hawke’s Bay County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $70,000 authorised to be raised by the Hawke’s Bay County Council under the above-mentioned Act for rural housing advances, the said Hawke’s Bay County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0000936c in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Hawke’s Bay, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Hawke’s Bay County Council held on 14 December 1970.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the One Tree Hill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eight hundred and sixty thousand dollars ($860,000), authorised to be raised by the One Tree Hill Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing stormwater drainage reticulation in the Borough and incidental costs thereto, the said One Tree Hill
