Declaring Crown Land to be Vested in the University of Waikato to be Held in Trust for its Purposes

Pursuant to section 15 of the Education Lands Act 1949, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the Crown land set apart for the University of Waikato in the City of Hamilton and described in the Schedule hereto shall vest in the University of Waikato, to be held in trust for its purposes.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following declaration.

DECLARATION

  1. (1) This declaration may be cited as the Meringa-Tokirima Pest Destruction District Declaration 1971.
    (2) This declaration shall come into force on the 1st day of July 1971.
  2. The Meringa Pest Destruction District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 10th day of May 1967*, and the Tokirima Pest Destruction District, which was con-

stituted by Order in Council on the 19th day of October 1967†, are hereby united to form one district having the name of the Meringa-Tokirima Pest Destruction District, and it is hereby further declared that the basis on which the Pest Destruction Board for the said district shall first levy its general rate shall be an acreage basis.

Raymond Warren Taylor, of Christchurch;
to be a member and Chairman of the Architects' Investigation Committee, and
Rodney Fox Draffin, of Auckland, and Albert Graham Kofoed, of Wellington
on the nomination of the Council of the New Zealand Institute of Architects, to be members of the said committee, all for a term of 3 years ending on the 30th day of June 1974.
