Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 18) 1971

PURSUANT to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 18) 1971.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on 1 July 1971.
  2. Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.
  3. The exemptions from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, included in the exempting notice shown in the Second Schedule, are hereby withdrawn.

The Penal Institutions Notice (No. 2) 1971

PURSUANT to the Penal Institutions Act 1954, the Minister of Justice hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Penal Institutions Notice (No. 2) 1971.
    (2) This notice shall take effect from the 30th day of June 1971.

  2. Ohura Prison—The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a prison to be known as Ohura Prison.

SCHEDULE

  1. All that piece of land containing 1 acre 3 roods 28.7 perches, more or less, being Lot 37, Deposited Plan 6904, and being part Taurangi 4 Block, situated in Block V, Ohura Survey District.

  2. All that piece of land containing 1 rood, more or less, being Lot 13, Block II, Deposited Plan 3229, and being part Taurangi 4 Block, situated in Block V, Ohura Survey District.

  3. All that piece of land containing 1 rood, more or less, being Lot 14, Block II, Deposited Plan 3229, and being part Taurangi 4 Block, situated in Block V, Ohura Survey District.

  4. All that piece of land containing 1 acre 1 rood 14.9 perches, more or less, being section 55, Block V, Ohura Survey District (S.O. 9632).
